Panasonic Lumix FZ15

The Panasonic Lumix FZ15 is probably the best sub $500 digital camera on the market today. It sports a 4 Meg CCD sensor capable of capturing 2304 x 1728 pixel images. A 4x digital zoom combines with a Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 12x zoom lens to give a total od 48x zoom.

In movie mode the Panasonic Lumix FZ15 allows you to shoot 320 x 240 pixel JPEG movies at 10 or 30 frames a second, albeit without sound.

Images can be transferred directly to PictBridge compatible printers or downloaded to a PC or Mac.

The Panasonic Lumix FZ15 digital camera comes with battery charger, lithium-ion battery pack, 8MB SD memory card, lens cap, lens hood with adaptor, A/V and USB cables, strap, and CD-ROM. It measures 3.43 by 5.02 by 4.18 inches and weighs 1.14 pounds.
